Mental Maintenance |
Happiness has become a rather overused word, perhaps part of the "I deserve this or that" perspective. However, we should at least reflect on the role it plays in our lives, whether we feel unfulfilled or just plain not happy - as opposed to unhappy!
None of this particularity changes our state of mind but it would be good if we could? Mental maintenance courses are recent concepts built on the increasing scientific understanding (neurobiology, psychology, social science) of the concept of "happiness", what it really means, and its importance as part of our daily routines in the same way as we exercise, eat well and try to stay healthy. Exploring it together with some original perspectives is a fresh approach to the subject. One that may help us to find a better understanding of oourselves. This is what we would like to do with you. For three hours, once a week, for six weeks, the course will explore perhaps obvious subjects such as living with purpose, relationships with people and the relationships we have with ourselves whether it is food or cigarettes or (?) with the less obvious -expressing gratitude, resilience and learning optimism (balanced). And of course having fun! The group size will be 6-8 people, running on Thursday afternoons from 13.00-16.00 near Móricz Zsigmond Kortér. There will be a free introduction to the course on Thursday 11th October, with the 6-week course starting later in the month. If you would like to talk to us about the course we can also offer a free one-to-one meeting. The total cost is HUF36,000 payable in advance. Due to limited numbers, PLEASE REGISTER TO CONFIRM YOUR PLACE. Thank you. |
